Hiring Agency

Just like a talent agency, a hiring agency is utilized by all types of industries to help expedite their hiring process. Hiring agencies will take information from job seekers and work to match them up with companies that are looking for individuals who have a set of necessary skills. Most employers will have an employment opportunities page listed on their website. This is where they post open job positions and explain how to submit your resume for consideration.

Community Boards

Another great place to check for local job opportunities is at local community boards. You can typically find these online, where local residents post about everything related to their town. You may find a community board on a Facebook page for your local town. Some even smaller towns may offer a town hall that has a community board where open job positions may be posted on fliers.

Local Career Fairs

A popular place to find employment is at a career fair. These are typically held a few times a year in local community centers. Employers who are looking to hire qualified individuals will set up a booth where you can meet them in person. Most employers will even do interviews on the spot.
